Happy Monday!!

Has everyone heard of Instagram? I simply love using the app to vintage-ize (yup, new word!!) my pictures! I think I use my camera on my phone more than my canon! Sad, I know... Here's some Instagram pictures from our weekend!

What's New at the Newman's?!

One word. LANDSCAPING!

Chase and I have been planning out all of the landscaping we would like to get started (and hopefully finished!) this spring and summer. Also, I am planning a garden! I'm super excited to be able to walk outside and clip a few pieces of lettuce, pick some tomatoes, and dig up some carrots to whip up a salad on a summer night! Any gardening tips would be greatly appreciated!! :)

Good Ol' Buddy

My family got a pudgy little lab puppy back when in 2001. He was nicknamed "Horse" at the breeder's because he was so chubby!!! He was a very loveable yet mischievous dog- he was constantly stealing food off the counter but once he gave you a look with his big ol puppy dog eyes, everything was okay! :)

Today, my parents had to take him to the vet to be put down. He was not only really old, but also was sick and had been going down hill for the past year.

I thought I would dedicate a post to my favorite yellow lab who gave us many stories to laugh about. I will miss him!

Well Hello Again!

And yet again, I find myself apologizing for my lack of update-age. I don't have much to write about, but I have a few pic's to share from the past few weeks! (More like past month, but that makes me sound like a terrible blogger that it has been that long since my last post!!) There's a picture of our new bed set, some Valentine's cards I sent out, and a picture of Baklava that I made for a dinner with some friends! (I am not quite sure how to create photo captions since I'm doing this on my iPhone... If anyone has any tips, please let me know! :))
